Vintage AEROXON Fly-Catcher Fly Ribbons Germany Entomology

Description

This auction is for a vintage AEROXON Box containing about 50 AEROXON fly catcher ribbon tubes, made in Germany. Patent date on tubes is Feb. 15, 1916. Nice country store display box. The ribbons are new and unused in their original cardboard tubes. The box measures 8x4.5x4.5 inches. The tubes measure 2-1/8" tall and 7/8" in diameter. Most tubes come with a thumbtack attached to the string for pulling-out the rolled-up ribbon, then hanging on the ceiling. The box is solid with one broken top corner, and the label on the front is partially loose (see pics).. Thank you for looking. DO NOT EAT!
