    New Old Stock (NOS) in the original manufactures packaging.  Some of the boxes may have been slightly deformed from handling or storage but the contents are new and perfect.
    This is a 10' section of Morse Silent Chain size 404 with a 1/2" pitch.  The chain is 1-Inch (1") wide.  Although the width is a "nominal" 1" the narrow section of the chain is 0.935" and the widest point on the chain is 1.070".  This chain retails at over 0 a foot (00 for a 10' section).  Meets ANSI B29.2 requirements.

    SILENT CHAIN "SECTION I"
    Morse® SC Chain is available in American National Standards Institute SC pitches from 3 /16" to 1". For all power transmitting SC chain except 3 /16" pitch, Morse SC Chain uses a special rocker-pin joint. This joint is superior for power transmission because the motion between the rocker-pin parts during articulation is a rolling action rather than the high friction, power wasting sliding action that is characteristic of round pin joints.
    This joint design therefore minimizes heat and wear rates and makes possible maximum speed, loads, and life for Morse silent chain. In 3 /16" pitch, these undesirable factors are minimal, and a round pin joint is utilized to facilitate manufacture and assembly. In motion transmitting chains such as duplex chain, Morse chains are available with a round pin joint to allow backbending. Applications range from home movie projector drives to small turbine drives.
    Morse silent chain is another inverted tooth type drive available in several standard sizes. It will transmit power as smoothly as a belt at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. 3 /16" pitch silent chain has successfully powered photocopying equipment, packaging machinery and missile launchers.
