    - Moss can withstand freezing temperatures and ships extremely well.
    - This moss is grown and harvested from its natural environment in Sequim, Washington from a privately owned woodland.
    ABOUT
    Climacium Dendroides [Climacium Americanum], or Tree Moss, is an extremely beautiful moss that resembles a tiny tree, perfect for your terrarium projects. This moss grows under and around pine trees, on boulders and rocks and in shady areas under leaves and pine needles. Like all mosses, Climacium doesn't have a root system, but unlike other mosses, it grows on runners just below the substrate, which can be divided and portioned. Instead of roots, moss soaks up water through their tiny leaves which makes them ideal candidates for terrariums and other humid setups, like paludariums, vivariums, and ripariums.
