CULTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS
1 package of mushroom mycelium is designed for sowing on an area of 2.5-3m2.
In open areas, champignons grow in shady places, in partial shade - under trees, bushes, in raspberries, in strawberry beds, from shaded sides behind farm buildings and fences, where they cannot be harmed by direct sunlight.
The soil must be plowed up. At the same time weed plants, grass roots, if they do not harm other crops, do not need to be removed. Sow mycelium on a loosened surface. Then top with a uniform layer of 12-15cm sprinkle humus or compost.
Mycelium will begin to bear fruit in 2-2.5 months. Until this time, visible changes on the soil surface are not noticeable. Fruiting lasts from early spring to late autumn. Throughout this period, you can mushrooms and planted. But it is more expedient to do this in early September - until early December and from late February to mid-May. Champignon yield is very high from 1m2 to 12kg of mushrooms per month.
Mushrooms are harvested, twisting, not cut, as the remaining fruiting bodies can rot and attract insects. Snatching mushrooms, you do not harm the mycelium. After harvesting in 1.5–2 weeks, the mushrooms grow again.
The plantation is not warmed for the winter. Disputes do not die even at very low temperatures. They just stop developing, “fall asleep”. In the spring you will see their “awakening” in the form of a bountiful harvest.
Once a year, a layer of 7-10 cm of humus or humus and / or dry plant residues as fertilizers is poured directly on top of the mycelium. It is best to do this in late autumn, when the fruiting of mushrooms ceases.
"Live" mycelium will be from 4 to 6 years, with each year slightly expanding and increasing its area.
For year-round cultivation of champignons any premises are used - sheds, garages, basements, loggias, storerooms, attics, etc. The advantages of growing champignons indoors - the ability to get fresh mushrooms year-round.
Grow mushrooms in boxes, in plastic bags, etc. A layer of 10–12 cm of earth is poured on the bottom, the mycelium is scattered, then it is covered by 7–10 cm of humus or compost. The first mushrooms appear after about 1.5 months. Unlike plots in open areas, this mycelium will bear fruit 4-5 times, with each wave less and less abundant. Moisturize without creating a swamp. Put a container with water next to the boxes, which will gradually evaporate. If this is not enough, water, splashing water and not creating a "swamp".
The temperature in the room is desirable to maintain 14-26 ° C. Will grow at lower temperatures, but more slowly. Lighting is not required, but it does not harm either. A clean, washed, cleaned room is a must!
Productivity to 12 kg of mushrooms from 1 sq.m for the entire period of fructification.
