C BURTON BARBER SUSPENSE CHILD GIRL PRAYS EGG CUP KITTEN DOG CREWEL ART PICTURE

Gorgeous framed picture with some crewel embroidery with artwork from Charles Burton Barber, which is known as Suspense. A beautiful girl child is prayer over her breakfast, of tea toast and an egg with her pets, a kitten a Jack Russell Terrier Dog.  Condition is very good, clean, professionally framed in wood ( wooden frame has a few small nicks ), with the paper backing show slight wear and a few slight tears on paper backing. There are eye hooks and write for hanging.. The original kit this was made from was a crewel embroidery kit, where only certain parts of the picture were to have some yarn sewn in.l. I question if the embroidery artist, did not miss a few lines on the box with flowers, I cannot be certain, as the front box has some green trim, but the box behind it, does not. If this was missed, it's hard to see an can also be sewn in by an excellent seamstress or professional seamstress ( a novice could not sew in the yarn ). Approximate size overall is 12.5  inches by 12.75 inches, not exact.
